Return & Refund Policy

At MassLabs 3D, customer satisfaction is important to us. Because many of our products and services are custom-made to customer specifications, our return and refund policy differs from that of traditional retail products.
Custom Orders
Most products manufactured by MassLabs 3D are custom-made based on customer-provided designs, specifications, or project requirements. As a result, custom orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.
Examples of custom orders include:
- Custom 3D printed parts
- Prototypes
- Custom manufacturing projects
- Design services
- Engineering and consulting services
- Personalized or made-to-order products
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be provided under the following circumstances:
- The product received differs significantly from the approved specifications.
- The product contains a manufacturing defect caused by MassLabs 3D.
- An order is canceled by MassLabs 3D before production begins.
- A refund is otherwise approved at our sole discretion.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for returns or refunds:
- Completed custom-manufactured products
- Design and consulting services already performed
- Products damaged through misuse, modification, or improper handling
- Orders approved by the customer and produced according to the provided specifications
- Shipping and handling charges (unless due to our error)
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before production begins.
If materials have already been purchased, preparation work has started, or production is underway, cancellation requests may be subject to partial charges for work completed and expenses incurred.
Once production has started, orders generally cannot be canceled.
Damaged or Defective Products
If your order arrives damaged or you believe there is a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of any damaged packaging
MassLabs 3D will review the claim and may, at our discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Issue a partial refund
- Issue a full refund
Incorrect Orders
If you receive an item that does not match your approved order specifications, notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.
Customer-Supplied Designs
MassLabs 3D is not responsible for design flaws, fitment issues, functionality concerns, or performance limitations resulting from customer-provided files, drawings, measurements, or specifications.
Customers are responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of submitted designs before production.
Return Authorization
No returns will be accepted without prior authorization from MassLabs 3D.
If a return is approved, customers will receive instructions regarding shipping and processing.
Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
